Week 5 - NLM

Wow what a week!

So this week was the national leaders meeting which was amazing (even though I didn't like the schedule change). God showed up huge. I have been feeling a huge peace about my relationship with God. I think that it's so easy sometimes to compare where you are in your walk with God with other peoples and I realized to be content with where I am at but also want more and want to grow more with God... the way and pace He wants! God also (again) brought up issues in my life where I struggle with (trust, faith, etc) and I am starting to deal with them and I can tell you that I already feel somewhat free. Also with direction in my life I feel more of a calling as to where God wants me to be. I have an idea of what I will be doing after DTS but I have not gotten confirmation from God yet so I will wait to share that info! But it is exciting!

The module that I liked best this week was the one called "The Discipling Process- Pauls letters". It was amazing. Maureen Menard spoke and really just explained a lot about the holy spirit and everything. I learned so much!!

Other than that this week has been a challenging week. A lot of ups and a lot of downs! It's been rough but God has seen me through it. It's all a learning process and patience is an area where God is growing me! slowly but surely! :)

Yesterday was an amazing day because it was the first day since last weekened where we had free time. We went to a place called freemantle which is basically a artsy "downtown" area on the water. We went to the market.. and just hung out! We also went swimming in the ocean with our clothes on! It wasn't really that cold which was surprising... what was cold was the 40 minute train ride after when we were soaking wet!

This coming week we are learning about Relationships which I am super excited for! Pray that I will be open and willing to hear all that God has for me this week!!

  1. this is great new bailey! i'm especially glad you're thinking about your future after DTS, while still living in the moment, at Base.
